Online shop for the IDS now open

Specific contact management even prior to the IDS
Business Matchmaking is a contact marketplace that visitors can use via the Internet to specifically contact IDS exhibitors. With this instrument, visitors can identify the product groups of the event in advance. They can make enquiries about products and services, which will then only be selectively sent to the respective IDS exhibitors.  In this way, personal connections can be specifically made prior to the trade show, which can then be further strengthened at the event itself. Online Shop: In the fast lane to the exhibition halls
For users of the Online Shop at www.ids-cologne.de, which will be activated in mid-November, there are no waiting lines in the entrance area, even with large crowds of visitors. Visitors from all over the world can register online and order their admission tickets. The tickets will arrive by e-mail. With the print-out, visitors can get in the fast lane to the exhibition halls and completely bypass the ticket counters. Holders of admission ticket coupons can also use this “fast lane”. They can exchange the coupons for a ticket in the Online Shop. Regardless of whether the ticket was a coupon or purchased, during the trade show admission tickets also serve as bus and train tickets in the Greater Cologne area. The IDS trade fair catalogue is also available in the Online Shop, presumably starting in early February 2009. The IDS – International Dental Show in Cologne is the world’s largest trade show for dentistry and dental technology. The next IDS, which will take place from 24 to 28 March 2009, will be the most attractive ever. Around 1,750 exhibitors from approx. 55 countries – 62 percent of whom are from outside Germany – will present the latest trends and innovations on over 128,000 square metres of exhibition space. Exhibitors and visitors can expect optimal quality of presentations, service and accommodation at the new, completely renovated exhibition grounds of Koelnmesse GmbH. The IDS halls 3, 4, 10 and 11 as well as Hall 3.1 as of late, are ideally connected to one another via the trade show boulevard which serves as a feeder path and promenade and other arcades surrounding the new piazza. Shorter distances are guaranteed. The south entrance with a direct connection to the ICE train station Cologne Messe/Deutz and downtown Cologne is the exhibition grounds’ new entry gate. The familiar IDS West and East entrances have been renovated and are now more appealing. IDS (International Dental Show) takes place in Cologne every two years and is organised by GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH, the commercial arm of the Association of German Dental Manufacturers (VDDI e.V.) and staged by Koelnmesse GmbH, Cologne.
